Cardi B turns Brooklyn into a block party in the AH HA video

Cardi B has released the official video for AH HA, transforming Brooklyn’s Sunset Park into a fast-moving backdrop of stoops, beauty salons, street corners and four-wheelers. The visual gives the rapper’s confrontational single a neighborhood-block-party scale while keeping its focus on attitude and spectacle.

A Brooklyn summer built around the song

The video opens with an exaggerated heat wave: a newspaper announces high temperatures, a fan spins near a clothesline and the thermometer climbs past 100 degrees. Cardi then moves through a series of bright outfits and locations, performing on a stoop before taking the action into a salon where she and four friends dance beneath hair dryers.

Later scenes bring quad bikes into the street and include a cameo from Detroit rapper Kash Doll, whom Cardi references in the track. The production uses Sunset Park as more than a generic city backdrop, placing residents, storefront energy and summer street culture around the performance.

AH HA was produced by DJ SwanQo and released on July 31. It debuted at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and marked Cardi’s first solo single since her 2025 sophomore album, Am I the Drama?

Cardi explains who the record addresses

In comments published alongside the video’s arrival, Cardi said the song targets people who assume she is preoccupied with them or their relationships. She described jealousy around her as the central frustration, adding that the message was aimed at both women and men she encounters.

The video turns that tension into a deliberately playful flex rather than a literal storyline. Fashion changes, choreography and public-space energy carry the visual while the lyrics deliver the sharper edge.

Cardi also said she has begun work on another album after completing her first arena run earlier this year. AH HA therefore functions as both a standalone summer release and a possible bridge toward the next stage of her recording career.
