Elle King Marries Dan Tooker in a Forest Ceremony

Elle King and tattoo artist Dan Tooker are married after a relationship that has included an engagement, two children, a separation and a public reconciliation. The singer announced the wedding on Instagram on Sunday, October 4, sharing images from the couple’s outdoor celebration.

King wrote that she and Tooker were now husband and wife and called the ceremony the best day of her life. The event took place the previous day in a wooded setting, where guests captured the couple walking with their sons and later singing together onstage.

The bride wore an ivory satin gown with a fitted silhouette, flared skirt and train, paired with a sheer veil. Tooker chose a dark double-breasted suit with a black shirt and white boutonniere. Rustic details included a moss-green wedding cake decorated with flowers and small figures representing the newlyweds.

Their sons shared the celebration

King and Tooker’s two sons, Lucky Levi and Royal, appeared in moments from the wedding. Their presence made the ceremony a family milestone as much as a celebrity event, closing one chapter in a relationship the couple has discussed openly over several years.

The pair first met in 2019 when King visited Tooker’s tattoo shop. They became engaged in October 2020 and welcomed Lucky in 2021. King disclosed in 2023 that they were spending time apart, then confirmed in September 2024 that they had reconciled and recommitted to their family.

The couple welcomed Royal in February 2025. In a Father’s Day message this year, King called Tooker the love of her life and praised the example he sets for their children.

A reconciliation becomes a wedding

The ceremony gives a joyful conclusion to a period King previously described as necessary growth. When the couple reunited, she said they had recognized that their family was worth the work required to begin again.

King, known for blending rock, country and blues, kept the announcement focused on the personal milestone rather than turning it into a formal promotional rollout.
