Doechii and Phoebe Bridgers Lead Primavera Sound 2027

Primavera Sound has unveiled the first major wave of artists for its 2027 Barcelona festival, placing Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C. and Massive Attack at the front of an expansive anniversary lineup.

The main festival dates are set for June 3 through June 5 at Parc del Fòrum. The edition marks 25 years for Primavera Sound, giving the organizers a natural reason to mix current headliners, veteran acts and left-field favorites across the bill.

A lineup built across generations

Doechii is scheduled to make her Primavera Sound debut, while Bridgers returns to the festival circuit with new solo material. Fontaines D.C. arrive with another album cycle underway, and Massive Attack bring a long-established live reputation to the top tier of the program.

The supporting list is just as broad. The Chemical Brothers, FKA twigs, Turnstile, Robyn, Bad Gyal, Lola Young, Pavement, Hayley Williams, ADÉLA, Prospa and Caroline Polachek are among the announced names. Skrillex and Ninajirachi are also set for a back-to-back closing performance.

Other bookings include King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Bleachers, Underworld, ANOHNI, Weyes Blood, English Teacher, Julien Baker, Arca, DIIV and Metronomy. Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Vashti Bunyan add rarer appearances to a program that stretches from electronic music and rap to indie rock and experimental pop.

Barcelona plans a full festival week

Catalan News reports that the core three-day event will be joined by an opening program on June 2 and an electronic closing party on June 6. A wider parallel program is expected to extend activity through the week, though its details have not yet been announced.

The first ticket window is also approaching quickly. Fan-sale registration is scheduled to run through October 7, with registered buyers receiving access instructions for October 8. General ticket sales are due to open October 9.

The announcement gives music fans an unusually early view of Primavera Sound’s next chapter. With major pop and rap draws sharing space with influential alternative acts, the 2027 edition is already positioned as one of the most varied festival bills on the European calendar.
