Kylie Jenner Is Set to Lead Hulu Thriller ‘Bachelorette Weekend’

Kylie Jenner is preparing to take on her first major acting role in Bachelorette Weekend, a mystery thriller that is finalizing a straight-to-series deal at Hulu. The working-title project would put the reality star and beauty entrepreneur at the center of a scripted drama rather than in a cameo or an unscripted format.

A celebration becomes a murder mystery

The premise begins with a bachelorette getaway that turns deadly when the bride, played by Jenner, is found murdered in a swimming pool. Her closest friends immediately become suspects, and the series will reconstruct the events that led to her death. Jenner’s character is designed as the story’s central thread even though the mystery begins with her killing.

Lauren Oliver created the series from an unpublished book by Flora Collins. Oliver is also among the executive producers, alongside Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kapital Entertainment’s Aaron Kaplan. Jaiden Kaplan is attached as a co-executive producer, while Kapital Entertainment and 20th Television are set to serve as co-studios.

A larger step into scripted entertainment

Jenner has already tested the acting waters with a cameo in Charli XCX’s project The Moment, but Bachelorette Weekend represents a much bigger commitment. It also extends the Kardashian family’s move into scripted television, with Kim Kardashian both producing this project and building her own acting résumé.

The series is being developed under the Kardashians’ first-look arrangement with 20th Television. Reports differ only slightly on where the deal stands: the project is described as nearing or finalizing a Hulu order, and the streamer has not publicly announced a premiere date or production schedule.

That leaves key details—including the rest of the cast, episode count and filming timeline—still to come. For now, the central hook is clear: Jenner will play a bride whose death drives a glossy, friendship-focused whodunit built around secrets inside a tightly connected group.
