ENHYPEN earns its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200

ENHYPEN has reached the top of the Billboard 200 for the first time. The K-pop group’s album THE SIN : BLISS debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated September 5 after earning 98,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending August 27.

The result turns a series of near-misses into a career milestone. ENHYPEN had previously peaked at No. 2 with THE SIN : VANISH earlier this year and with ROMANCE : UNTOLD in 2024. The new release is the group’s seventh top-10 album, with all seven arriving since 2022.

Sales powered a decisive opening week

Traditional album sales supplied most of the debut, accounting for 92,000 of the first-week total and also sending the project to No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. Streaming activity contributed another 6,000 equivalent units, according to the chart data reported by Billboard.

The Billboard 200 combines album purchases, track-equivalent albums and streaming-equivalent albums into one weekly measure of consumption. That mix makes ENHYPEN’s sales-heavy launch especially notable at a time when many chart leaders rely more heavily on streaming volume.

THE SIN : BLISS is the latest chapter in the group’s ongoing THE SIN series. Its chart performance also extends K-pop’s established presence at the summit of the main U.S. albums ranking, while giving ENHYPEN a new benchmark after several years of steady growth.

A busy top five gives the debut context

The week’s upper chart also included Ella Langley at No. 2, Olivia Rodrigo at No. 3 and Morgan Wallen at No. 4. Dolly Parton’s 2003 greatest-hits collection Ultimate Dolly Parton returned at No. 5 with 59,000 equivalent album units, creating a top five that ranged from a new K-pop release to a catalog resurgence.

For ENHYPEN, however, the headline is straightforward. After twice reaching second place, the seven-member group now has the No. 1 that had remained just out of reach. The achievement gives THE SIN : BLISS a distinct place in the act’s discography and confirms that its U.S. audience can translate intense fan support into a chart-topping week.
