Dreyer said the arrangement has helped her manage the busy after-school routine for her three sons. She described a practical rhythm in which she can focus on the children while her mother handles lunchboxes, backpacks and the household mess that follows them through the door.

The podcast discussion was not framed as a formal announcement. Instead, Dreyer referred to the divorce while talking about the support system that has developed around her family. Her wording nevertheless marked the clearest public confirmation that the process had moved beyond the separation she previously disclosed.

Dreyer and Fichera married in 2012 and share sons Calvin, Oliver and Russell. She announced their separation in July 2025, saying at the time that they intended to remain close friends and continue raising their children with love and respect. A divorce filing followed in March 2026.
