Iron Maiden Adds a Final 2027 North American Tour Leg

Iron Maiden is extending its 50th-anniversary celebration into 2027 with a final North American leg of the Run for Your Lives Tour, despite previously planning to step away from live performances next year.

The 16-date run opens April 14 at the Tacoma Dome in Washington and closes May 16 at the Boardwalk Rock festival in Ocean City, Maryland. Bullet for My Valentine and The Raven Age will support the arena and amphitheater dates, while the itinerary ends with festival headline appearances at Sonic Temple in Columbus and Boardwalk Rock.

The band returns to cities it missed

The routing focuses on parts of North America that were not included in Iron Maiden’s recently completed 2026 leg. Stops include Vancouver, Portland, Chula Vista, Phoenix, Dallas, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Atlanta, Raleigh, Hartford and Belmont Park, New York.

Bassist and founder Steve Harris said the band reconsidered its planned break after enjoying the latest United States and Canadian shows. He specifically pointed to the Northwest and Southeast as regions the group wanted to reach, while acknowledging that the schedule still could not cover every market.

The festival bookings also give Iron Maiden a different kind of finale. Harris said the group values the challenge of performing before crowds that extend beyond its established fan base. Sonic Temple is scheduled for May 14, followed two days later by Boardwalk Rock.

Ticket sales begin in October

Artist presales are set to begin Monday, October 19 at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales are scheduled for Friday, October 23 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans should confirm venue-specific details and festival access through official ticketing pages before purchasing.

The new dates turn what had been a planned touring pause into one more spring run for the British metal veterans. The Run for Your Lives production draws from five decades of the band’s catalog, making the added shows both a geographic extension and a final opportunity for more North American audiences to see the anniversary set before the group takes its break.
