Sean Ono Lennon and his longtime partner, musician and model Charlotte Kemp Muhl, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Aurelius. John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s first grandchild

Aurelius is the first grandchild of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Sean, 50, is their only child and was born on his father’s birthday in 1975. The arrival has an especially resonant place in the family’s musical history: John wrote “Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)” for Sean, and the song remains one of his best-known reflections on fatherhood.

Sean and Kemp Muhl met at Coachella in 2005 and began dating two years later. Their partnership has also been creative. They formed the psychedelic group the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger and have collaborated on other recordings and performances while maintaining an unusually private personal life.
