JISOO begins a new solo era with CLICK, a Joseph Kahn-directed video that turns an abandoned theme park into a story of connection.
JISOO has opened a new phase of her solo career with “CLICK,” a pop single paired with a cinematic music video directed by Joseph Kahn. The BLACKPINK member steps into a science-fiction romance that uses an abandoned amusement park to tell a story about connection across different worlds.
In the visual, JISOO plays the last sentient cyborg left at a theme park forgotten by time. Her character continues the park’s routines alone until another humanoid figure appears. Their meeting gradually returns light, movement and life to the empty setting.
JISOO’s ‘CLICK’ video turns loneliness into connection
The production’s central symbol is the CLICK Bear, a companion presented as a reflection of JISOO’s fans. According to the storyline shared by her label, the bear represents listeners from different countries and languages who remain connected through music and shared memories.
Kahn brings a long music-video résumé to the project, having worked with major pop and hip-hop artists across several decades. Here, the scale is used less for spectacle than for a compact narrative: two isolated figures find each other, and an inactive world begins to wake up around them.
The song follows “EYES CLOSED,” JISOO’s collaboration with Zayn, which reached No. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also extends the solo run she developed with her 2025 mini album AMORTAGE, home to “earthquake” and “Your Love.”
A growing catalog beyond BLACKPINK
JISOO began releasing solo material in 2023 with ME. Its lead single, “FLOWER,” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200, giving her an early international chart benchmark apart from BLACKPINK’s group releases.
“CLICK” keeps that solo identity centered on polished pop and highly visual storytelling. Rather than borrowing the scale of a group comeback, the video builds a contained world around JISOO’s screen presence and the song’s theme of two people whose differences suddenly align.
The track and video are available now, giving fans the first full look at the aesthetic and emotional direction of JISOO’s latest solo chapter.
