Ariana Grande’s Olivia wins over Robert De Niro’s Jack while Ben Stiller’s Greg grows suspicious in the new Focker-In-Law trailer.
Ariana Grande has entered the Focker family’s famously uncomfortable circle of trust. A new trailer for Focker-In-Law introduces the singer and actor as Olivia Jones, the future bride whose easy rapport with Jack Byrnes immediately unsettles Greg Focker.
The sequel brings Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro back as Greg and Jack, with Skyler Gisondo playing Greg and Pam’s son, Henry. Henry’s plan to marry Olivia creates the latest round of family chaos, but the trailer reverses the franchise’s familiar dynamic: Greg is now the suspicious parent sizing up a newcomer.
Ariana Grande joins the Meet the Parents comedy
Olivia appears to win over most of her future in-laws, including the hard-to-please Jack. Greg responds by becoming increasingly competitive, and the preview turns that insecurity into physical comedy through kitchen mishaps and a cycling showdown.
The setup gives Stiller’s character a chance to repeat Jack’s old behavior while insisting he is protecting his son. Grande, fresh from her Wicked era, plays Olivia with enough confidence to make Greg’s suspicion look even more frantic.
The returning ensemble includes Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner and Teri Polo. Beanie Feldstein and Eduardo Franco also join the cast, expanding the family and social orbit around the central wedding plans.
A fourth film after a 16-year gap
Focker-In-Law is the fourth installment in the comedy series that began with Meet the Parents in 2000. It arrives 16 years after Little Fockers, making the new generational angle more than a quick plot device: Greg has had time to become the kind of anxious gatekeeper he once resisted.
John Hamburg directs the film and is also among its producers, alongside Jane Rosenthal, De Niro, Stiller, John Lesher and Jay Roach. Hamburg has a long connection to the franchise and previously directed comedies including Along Came Polly and I Love You, Man.
Universal is scheduled to release Focker-In-Law in theaters nationwide on November 25, 2026, positioning the family comedy for the Thanksgiving corridor.
