Ella Langley canceled her October 9 concert at Tulsa’s BOK Center after officials advised her team of a serious security threat.
Ella Langley canceled her October 9 concert at Tulsa’s BOK Center only hours before the country singer was due to take the stage, citing what she described as a serious security threat involving fans, venue employees and her touring team.
Langley said the decision followed guidance from local authorities, the arena and her security staff. She acknowledged the money, travel and planning that fans had invested in the show, but said she would not proceed when their safety could be at risk.
The arena confirmed the cancellation
BOK Center issued its own notice confirming that the performance would not go ahead. The venue said safety was its priority and indicated that information about ticket refunds would be provided as soon as possible. No replacement date was announced in the initial statements.
A subsequent report from Consequence, citing Oklahoma’s News 9, said Tulsa police had received a bomb-threat call. That report said officers and K-9 units conducted a preliminary sweep and found no indication of a threat. Authorities had not publicly detailed the origin or credibility of the call in the material available Friday evening, so the incident remains a developing story.
The tour is nearing its final stretch
The canceled Tulsa date was part of Langley’s Dandelion Tour, which began in May. The headlining run has featured women in the opening slots, including Gabriella Rose, Kaitlin Butts, Avery Anna, Laci Kaye Booth and Madeline Edwards.
Langley is scheduled to continue the tour through the end of October, with its closing date set for October 31 at Grand Casino Arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Her team had not announced changes to the remaining itinerary when the Tulsa cancellation was made public.
For ticket holders, the immediate next step is to watch the BOK Center and original point of purchase for refund instructions. The venue’s statement did not ask fans to travel to the arena, and the performance remained listed as canceled rather than postponed.
