Ella Langley’s Dandelion rises back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning its third week on top nearly five months after debuting.
Ella Langley’s Dandelion has climbed back to the top of the Billboard 200, giving the country singer a third nonconsecutive week at No. 1. The album moved up two places on the chart dated September 19 after earning 67,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending September 10, according to Luminate data reported by Billboard.
A durable run beyond release week
The return is notable because Dandelion first opened at No. 1 on the April 25 chart and held the position for its first two weeks. It then remained inside the top five through the following months before reclaiming the summit. That pattern suggests listeners are engaging with the project as a full album rather than treating its launch as a brief spike.
Variety also highlighted the four-and-a-half-month gap between the record’s early run at No. 1 and this week’s comeback. The publication connected that staying power to Langley’s hit “Choosin’ Texas,” while noting that the broader album continues to attract attention in its own right.
A competitive week for pop and country
The latest chart also brought several prominent moves elsewhere in the top 10. ADÉLA’s debut studio album PRIMA entered at No. 4, Ariana Grande’s petal rose to No. 6 following a deluxe edition, and Beyoncé’s B’Day returned at No. 8 after a 20th-anniversary expanded reissue.
Billboard said the 67,000-unit total was the smallest tally for a No. 1 album in more than a year, placing Langley’s achievement in the context of a relatively quiet sales and streaming week. Still, the ranking reflects the chart’s combined measurement of album sales, track-equivalent albums and streaming-equivalent albums.
For Langley, the result extends a breakthrough era rather than beginning a new one. Dandelion has now proved it can leave the top spot and find its way back months later, while “Choosin’ Texas” continues to give the campaign a recognizable center. The full September 19 Billboard 200 is scheduled to be posted on September 15.
