Hans Zimmer will bring The Next Level to 30 North American arenas in 2027 with a 19-piece band, new arrangements and visuals.
Hans Zimmer is bringing “Hans Zimmer Live — The Next Level” to North America in 2027 for a 30-date arena run across the United States and Canada. The tour begins February 17 at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford and closes April 11 at Portland’s Moda Center.
Zimmer will perform onstage with a 19-piece band, presenting new arrangements and a redesigned visual production. The schedule includes stops in New York, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Denver, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Seattle, as well as several other major markets.
From film scores to a new arena show
The program will draw from one of modern cinema’s most recognizable music catalogs. Zimmer’s scores include “Gladiator,” “The Lion King,” “Inception,” “Interstellar,” the “Dark Knight” trilogy, “Pirates of the Caribbean” and the “Dune” films. The exact set list has not been announced, leaving room for the production to move between blockbuster themes and less expected pieces.
“The Next Level” is distinct from Zimmer’s earlier touring shows, with fresh arrangements and a new visual concept. The official tour site says the production completed 50 sold-out European performances across 17 countries by April 2026, reaching more than 600,000 attendees before continuing through Asia and Australia.
Ticket sales begin in September
American Express cardholders are scheduled to receive early ticket access on September 23 at 10 a.m. local time. An artist presale follows on September 24 at the same local hour, with the general sale set for September 25 at 10 a.m.
The route mixes major film-industry centers with cities that do not always anchor large soundtrack tours. Canadian dates include Ottawa, Quebec City, Hamilton and Vancouver, while the U.S. leg ranges from Philadelphia and Nashville to Fort Worth, Phoenix and Sacramento.
Zimmer has gradually turned music composed for the screen into a large-scale live experience built around musicians performing in view of the audience. The 2027 run continues that shift, giving North American listeners a chance to hear familiar themes reworked for an arena rather than replayed as recordings from the films.
