Rex Orange County will release his sixth album, ‘Dream Fatigue,’ on November 6 with Daniel Caesar, Mustafa and Brendan Yates featured.

Rex Orange County has announced Dream Fatigue, his sixth studio album, for release on November 6. The 12-track project places collaboration at the center of his next chapter, with contributions from Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, Turnstile’s Brendan Yates, Dev Hynes, Taylor Skye of Jockstrap and dexter in the newsagent.

The announcement arrives with the new single “Grandma Song.” It follows “Indecision,” his August collaboration with Caesar, which also appears on the album. The official store listing confirms the release date, complete track sequence and digital edition.

A more collaborative Rex Orange County record

The British singer-songwriter, whose real name is Alexander James O’Connor, has often been associated with an intimate, self-contained writing style. For Dream Fatigue, he has opened that process to a larger group of artists and producers.

Mustafa and Dylan Wiggins are credited as co-executive producers. Yates appears on “Elvis,” a song Rex previewed during a small London performance earlier this year. Caesar features on “Indecision,” while Mustafa joins “The Colosseum.” The album also includes “Penelope,” “Handsome,” “Hannah Montana,” “Iron Man,” “Boyfriend,” “Empty Stage,” “Roleplay” and the title track.

That guest list is varied without feeling random. Caesar and Mustafa bring distinct approaches to melody and storytelling, while Yates and Hynes connect the record to different corners of alternative music. The lineup suggests that collaboration is part of the album’s structure rather than a collection of last-minute features.

What follows ‘The Alexander Technique’

Dream Fatigue will be Rex Orange County’s first album since The Alexander Technique, released in 2024. The earlier record leaned into personal reflection; the new rollout points toward a broader creative exchange while retaining the direct songwriting that defines his catalog.

“Grandma Song” now gives listeners the clearest new preview of that direction. Combined with the previously released “Indecision” and the live debut of “Elvis,” the album is arriving through several distinct entry points rather than a single lead collaboration.

Preorders are open through the artist’s official store. With 12 songs and a cross-genre group of contributors, Dream Fatigue is positioned as both a return and a deliberate expansion of Rex Orange County’s musical circle.
