Suki Waterhouse says she and Robert Pattinson are not married yet, while sharing why a large wedding celebration will have to wait.
Suki Waterhouse has cleared up one of the most persistent questions surrounding her relationship with Robert Pattinson: the couple have not quietly married. In a new interview, the singer and actor said a wedding remains in their future, but their demanding schedules have kept them from settling on a date.
Waterhouse described the celebration she imagines as an all-or-nothing event. Rather than choosing a small ceremony, she suggested that she and Pattinson would want to gather friends and family for a large party. She also indicated that any wedding would have to wait until after the current year, leaving the timing open rather than announcing a firm plan.
The clarification follows repeated speculation about the couple’s status. Waterhouse and Pattinson began dating in 2018, and engagement reports emerged in late 2023 after she was photographed wearing a diamond ring. They welcomed a daughter in March 2024, while largely keeping their family life away from public view.
A family life built around changing schedules
Waterhouse said work has required the family to move among London, New York and Los Angeles, often staying in rentals instead of maintaining one consistent base. That pace helps explain why a major celebration has not yet become practical. Her comments frame the delay as a scheduling decision, not a sign of uncertainty about the relationship.
She also reflected on approaching a decade with Pattinson, calling the longevity of their partnership meaningful. Waterhouse said both parents feel closely connected to their daughter and confident in the home life they have created, even if their routine looks different from that of many families.
For now, the clearest update is also the simplest: they are engaged, they are not yet married, and no wedding date has been announced. Waterhouse’s description of a possible large celebration offers a glimpse of what they may choose when their calendars finally allow it, without turning an idea into a confirmed event.
