Tim McGraw celebrated 30 years with Faith Hill by revisiting their Louisiana wedding and sharing a family-centered video tribute.
Tim McGraw marked 30 years of marriage to Faith Hill with a personal tribute that returned to the couple’s wedding day in Rayville, Louisiana. McGraw shared a montage of moments from their life together on October 6, pairing the images with “My Best Friend,” his 1999 song about enduring partnership.
A backyard wedding remembered three decades later
McGraw recalled watching Hill approach beneath a locust tree in his aunt’s backyard on October 6, 1996, accompanied by her father, Ted Perry. The ceremony took place before close friends and family, months after the country stars had toured together. In his anniversary message, he described Hill as the emotional center of his life and of the family they built.
The couple share three adult daughters: Gracie, Maggie and Audrey. Audrey responded publicly to the tribute, while Hill maintains no Instagram account of her own. McGraw’s montage mixed stage performances, photo shoots and quieter affectionate moments, turning the post into a compact timeline of a relationship that has unfolded alongside two major music careers.
A partnership that repeatedly moved onstage
McGraw and Hill became one of country music’s most visible couples without limiting their collaboration to red carpets. Their first co-headlining Soul2Soul tour launched in 2000, and later editions kept their shared catalog in arenas for years. They have also performed together at awards shows and benefit concerts, and both received stars on Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame in 2016.
The pair eventually brought that chemistry to television, playing husband and wife James and Margaret Dutton in the Yellowstone prequel 1883. It was their first time acting opposite each other as a married couple, adding another shared chapter beyond recording and touring.
The anniversary arrives during another milestone season for McGraw. He is scheduled to enter the Country Music Hall of Fame on October 18 as a 2026 Modern Era inductee. Still, his message kept the focus on the private foundation beneath the public career: three decades of family memories, artistic partnership and a promise to make more of them.
