Netflix has released 22 KPop Demon Hunters bonus episodes featuring short stories, stop-motion adventures, games and dance videos.
Netflix has expanded KPop Demon Hunters with 22 short bonus episodes totaling about 78 minutes. The new material is available across a story-driven PLAYlist collection and a set of dance videos built around the animated hit’s songs and characters.
Short stories, games and stop-motion adventures
The larger package is KPop Demon Hunters PLAYlist, a 13-episode collection running about 49 minutes. Its short-form stories follow Rumi, Mira and Zoey through backstage problems involving rival idols, writer’s block, fashion emergencies and demon trouble.
Other entries recreate moments from the movie with stop-motion toy versions of the characters or turn their offstage world into simple games and fan challenges. The approach makes the collection more of an interactive companion than a conventional continuation of the film’s story.
That distinction matters for viewers waiting for a sequel. These episodes do not amount to a second movie, and Netflix has not attached a new feature-film release date to the bonus rollout.
The dance collection puts the music first
A separate nine-episode bundle runs just under 30 minutes and focuses on choreography. It includes an animated HUNTR/X rehearsal for “How It’s Done,” a live-action performance of the song and full dance videos for “Golden,” “Takedown,” “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol.”
The official Netflix listing describes the package as a collection of clips, dance moments and fan-focused extras. It also features the singing voices behind HUNTR/X — EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI — reacting to fan performances and transformations inspired by the movie.
The expansion reflects how widely the project has moved beyond its original animated feature. Its songs became streaming and chart successes, while dance routines, costumes and character videos fueled a large online fan culture. The new episodes gather those different forms of engagement inside Netflix rather than limiting the franchise to a single film.
For families and fans, the most practical detail is that the material is already live, not merely announced. The PLAYlist shorts offer quick character adventures, while the dance set provides a guided way to revisit the soundtrack and learn routines associated with HUNTR/X and the Saja Boys.
