Glastonbury Festival has set its 2027 ticket-sale schedule, and the headline number is a new high: general admission will cost £408 including the £5 booking fee. The festival returns next June after taking its planned fallow year in 2026.
Glastonbury 2027 ticket dates and prices
Coach-and-ticket packages will go on sale at 6 p.m. BST on Thursday, October 1. Standard general-admission tickets follow at 9 a.m. BST on Sunday, October 4. Advance registration remains mandatory, so prospective buyers need a valid registration number before joining the online queue.
The £408 total is £29.50 higher than the 2025 price and pushes a regular Glastonbury ticket above £400 for the first time. Buyers can reserve up to six tickets by paying a £100 deposit per person. NME reports that the remaining £308 balance will be due between 9 a.m. BST on April 1 and 11:59 p.m. BST on April 7.
The festival returns after a year off
Glastonbury 2027 is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23, through Sunday, June 27, at Worthy Farm in Somerset. The break in 2026 gave the land and local infrastructure a rest, following the festival’s established pattern of periodic fallow years.
No headliners have been announced. Speculation around major artists is already active, but rumors are not a lineup. The confirmed information for now is limited to the event dates, ticket price, registration requirement and sale windows.
The practical challenge for fans will be timing. Glastonbury tickets routinely draw heavy demand and have often sold out in under an hour. The festival has used an automatic online queuing system in recent sales, making an up-to-date registration and early preparation more important than repeatedly refreshing a browser.
A resale is expected in spring 2027 after the lineup is announced, offering another chance for tickets returned or left unpaid. Until then, the October sales are the main route in. Buyers should use the festival’s official registration and ticket pages, double-check their details in advance and treat any early “guaranteed ticket” offers outside authorized channels with caution.
