Charli xcx canceled her Glendale, Arizona concert after losing her voice, with automatic refunds planned for Ticketmaster buyers.

Charli xcx has canceled the Arizona stop of her Music, Fashion, Film tour after an illness left her without her voice. The singer announced that the Wednesday concert at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale would not go ahead, bringing an abrupt change near the end of her North American run.

Why the Glendale concert was canceled

In a message shared with fans, Charli said she had been fighting sickness during the tour and had completely lost her voice. She explained that performing demands everything she has physically and emotionally, making the decision especially painful. Her team tried to find a replacement date but was unable to secure one.

The cancellation means ticket holders will receive refunds rather than a rescheduled concert. Purchases made through Ticketmaster are set to be refunded automatically, while fans who bought tickets elsewhere can request refunds from their original point of purchase.

Charli also acknowledged the time and planning fans put into attending a show. She said she was resting ahead of the tour’s planned final North American date on Friday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Her statement expressed an intention to return to the stage there, but the immediate priority is recovering her voice.

A late disruption to a high-energy tour

The 12-date North American run began in Philadelphia in September and continued through cities including Brooklyn, Toronto, Atlanta and San Diego. Its Los Angeles dates delivered two headline-making guest moments: Chappell Roan joined Charli for “Boom Clap,” while PinkPantheress appeared for “Stateside.”

That momentum makes the Arizona cancellation disappointing for both the artist and fans, yet it also highlights the physical strain behind a tightly scheduled arena tour. Charli has promised to return to Arizona in the future, although no new date has been announced. For now, the Glendale stop is canceled, refunds are the concrete next step, and the status of the Las Vegas finale depends on her recovery.
