Peso Pluma earns 17 finalist entries for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards, leading Tito Double P, Fuerza Regida and Karol G.

Peso Pluma leads the finalists for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards with 17 entries, putting the Mexican star at the center of a field shaped by regional Mexican music and major collaborations.

Tito Double P follows with 15 mentions, while Fuerza Regida has 12. Karol G leads the women finalists with nine, ahead of an October 22 ceremony that will be broadcast live on Telemundo.

A strong showing for regional Mexican music

Billboard’s complete finalist list places Peso Pluma in several of the night’s largest categories, including Artist of the Year. His album “DINASTÍA,” made with Tito Double P, is nominated for Top Latin Album of the Year, and he is also in contention for Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo.

Four collaborations involving Peso Pluma and Tito Double P account for a significant share of their totals. “Daño,” “Dopamina,” “Chiclona” and “7-3” collectively earned nine mentions across categories that include Global 200 Latin Song of the Year, Hot Latin Song of the Year and Regional Mexican Song of the Year.

Fuerza Regida’s 12 mentions include Artist of the Year, Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Duo or Group. The band’s “Marlboro Rojo” collected four nominations, while “Cuando No Era Cantante,” featuring El Bogueto, Anuel AA and Yung Beef, appears in two categories.

Karol G tops the women finalists

Karol G’s nine mentions span Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year and Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year, Solo. Her Marco Antonio Solís collaboration “Coleccionando Heridas” is nominated in both Latin airplay and Latin pop song categories.

The awards will recognize work in 47 categories covering Latin pop, tropical, Latin rhythm and regional Mexican music. The program also includes honorary distinctions for career achievement and social impact.

Finalist counts reflect multiple nominations for the same recording across different categories, so they should not be read as a prediction of how many trophies an artist will win. For Peso Pluma, however, the breadth of the list confirms how strongly his current era has traveled across albums, songs and collaborations.
