AI character Tilly Norwood returned to the Zurich Summit as her creator explained why the viral digital performer still has no Hollywood agent.

Tilly Norwood returned to the Zurich Summit one year after the AI-generated character became a flashpoint in Hollywood’s debate over synthetic performers. This time, creator Eline van der Velden arrived with a clear answer to one of the questions that followed Norwood’s viral introduction: she still does not have a traditional talent agent.

Van der Velden, the founder of AI production company Particle 6, said the studio receives many offers but has concluded that representation is not currently necessary. She also said the company has rejected proposals that would place Norwood in conventional films because the character was designed for AI-centered productions.

A deliberately different career lane

Norwood appeared at the industry event by video and described her position as separate from the normal Hollywood path. The character said agencies and studios are still working out what to do with AI performers and framed her own work as belonging mostly to AI films.

Asked about dream collaborators, Norwood named Tom Holland and Olivia Colman, with an important condition: she would want to work with their digital twins in an AI production rather than appear opposite the actors in a conventional project. The answer reinforced Particle 6’s effort to define the character as part of a new production model, not a direct substitute dropped into an ordinary cast.

The Zurich appearance also revisited the backlash that made Norwood internationally recognizable. Van der Velden said the reaction exceeded anything she had expected, while arguing that the character was built to force a conversation between the technology and entertainment industries.

Projects move ahead as the debate continues

Particle 6 previewed two projects during the session. Norwood’s first production, an AI comedy-drama titled Misaligned, is in production. The company also showed material from Storm Dogs, a family adventure in development with The Lion King director Rob Minkoff serving as an executive producer.

Storm Dogs is planned as a hybrid: human roles would be filmed conventionally, while animal characters and a toddler would be created through a combination of established filmmaking methods and emerging AI tools. That approach gives a practical shape to the company’s broader argument that artificial intelligence should support storytelling rather than exist as a novelty by itself.

The appearance did not settle the labor and creative questions surrounding digital performers. It did, however, clarify Particle 6’s current strategy. Norwood may attract Hollywood attention, but her creator is keeping the character in a technology-specific lane while the wider industry decides where, and whether, that lane belongs.
