Savannah Chrisley is preparing for two major life changes at once. The Chrisley Knows Best alum has announced that she is expecting her first child and is engaged to her partner, Jason, ending months of speculation while still keeping much of his identity private.

A personal announcement on her own terms

Chrisley, 29, shared the pregnancy news in a personal Instagram statement and discussed the relationship on the October 27 episode of her Unlocked podcast. She described the baby as a long-awaited blessing after several difficult years and praised Jason for attending appointments and supporting her through the pregnancy.

The reality personality has chosen not to reveal Jason’s full name or face. That boundary gives the couple room to celebrate publicly without turning every detail of the relationship into content. Chrisley did confirm that they are planning a wedding in May, although she has not announced a specific date.

How the proposal unfolded

The engagement actually happened months before the public announcement. Chrisley said Jason proposed in December, five months after they began dating, during a trip to the Cayman Islands. He brought a ring in his backpack and arranged the proposal after the couple spent the day kayaking and exploring small islands.

According to Chrisley’s account, a friend helped move the ring from the hotel room and prepare flowers and champagne near a palm tree. Jason presented the jewelry without pressure, telling her it could represent an engagement, a promise or simply his love. Chrisley accepted and later described the unplanned, low-key setting as exactly right for them.

A new chapter beyond reality television

The announcement marks a hopeful turn for Chrisley, whose family life has remained intensely public through television, podcasts and legal turmoil surrounding her parents. Rather than introduce Jason through a glossy reveal, she has centered the news on the stability she says she has found and the family they are building.

For now, the couple is sharing the milestones rather than a full relationship profile. The pregnancy, private engagement and planned May wedding place Chrisley in a new phase of adulthood, but her decision to protect Jason’s identity suggests that part of this chapter will unfold away from the cameras.
